Terms of Service
The terms governing use of MyUniCompass, operated by Myunicompass Pvt Ltd, India: what the service provides, acceptable use, the yearly plan, paid mentor sessions, intellectual property, and limitation of liability.
MyUniCompass provides guidance and data; admission decisions are made solely by universities and we do not guarantee any outcome.
What the service is
An AI-assisted college advisory platform: university research and matching, admission-chance estimates, essay feedback, a deadline-aware application planner, and paid one-to-one sessions with mentors. Information and guidance only. Our data and AI outputs can contain errors, so important details should be checked against official sources.
Purchases
The MyUniCompass plan is paid once for a year. Steps 1 to 3 are free, with no time limit. There are no automatic renewals and no recurring charges. Refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Using the platform
You may stop using MyUniCompass at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, gives false information, abuses a mentor or another user, or attempts to take paid sessions off the platform. Where we close an account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused portion of your plan.
Mentors
Mentors are independent, not employees. They agree separately to the Mentor Agreement and the Mentor Code of Conduct, which governs all contact with students under 18.
What you own, and what we own
Your essays, your profile and everything you write remain yours. We do not claim ownership of student work and we do not publish it. The platform, its interface, its datasets and its generated analysis remain ours, and may not be scraped, resold or used to train a competing service.
Limits of what we promise
MyUniCompass provides information and guidance. Admission, scholarship and visa decisions are made entirely by universities and governments, and no outcome is guaranteed by us at any price. Data and AI output can contain errors; anything that matters should be checked against the official source, which is why every figure carries one.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India and should be read together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
