Refund Policy
The MyUniCompass plan is paid once for a year and never renews by itself. Steps 1 to 3 are free, with no card, so you can see how it works first.
Within 14 days of paying, you get a full refund if you have used at most one counsellor session. A session you booked but missed counts as used. After that, we refund the unused full months of your plan year. Billing errors are always refunded in full. Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method within 10 working days, and include the GST charged on the amount refunded.
What is always refunded
A wrong charge. A double charge. A failed activation. These need no argument and no request form: email us and they are returned in full to your original payment method.
Mentor sessions
Mentor sessions are paid per session. Cancel more than 24 hours before and you are refunded in full; cancel within 24 hours and there is no refund. If your mentor does not show up, you are refunded in full. A session only counts as done when both of you confirm it; disputes follow our session rules.
Aptitude+
The report is written and delivered as soon as you pay, so it is not refundable once generated, except for billing errors.
Referral rewards
If a friend you referred buys a plan, 5% of your own plan's list price comes back, up to 25% across five friends. Where your payment is recent enough, that is returned automatically to the original payment method; after that it becomes credit against your next plan. These are automatic and need no request.
Chargebacks
If something looks wrong on your statement, email us before raising a chargeback. A billing error is refunded in full without argument and usually faster than a bank dispute resolves, and it avoids an account being suspended while the dispute is open.
If we close your account
Where we close an account for a reason that is not your fault, the unused portion of your plan is refunded.
